Can I shower with my jewelry?
For bracelets, it is usually recommended not to only to elongate the life-span of the string. This is because water can cause the glue on the knot to become weaker, as well as the string itself depending on the water composition of your area. However, this really varies depending on the stone, as some are highly sensitive to water.
A lot of my clients still bathe/shower with their bracelets, and only experience the normal wear-and-tear of the string becoming looser over time. I personally recommend to ensure that you completely dry your bracelets afterwards if you choose to shower/bather with them, as this will help keep the glue strong.
For all other jewelry, I recommend to not shower/bathe with these items as some of them are made with wire or material that will tarnish due to water or green the skin.
How do I properly cleanse my jewelry/stones/spiritual items?
You can smoke cleanse them, use a selenite stick, or the power of the moon! Of course, there are many other ways of spiritually cleansing that are not limited to what was listed, and it is encouraged to do so in a way that best suits you and your practice.
Always utilize your intuition for when to cleanse your items, as not everything will need to be cleansed on a daily basis. Whether it is stagnat energy spring cleaning or just clearing out the negative gunk they have collected over time, always ensure to reset your intentions!
Will I ever sell white sage/palo santo?
I will never sell white sage out of cultural and spiritual respect. The white sage is commonly used for Native American shamanic practices/rituals and has sadly grown endangered due to its overusage & overproduction. The use of white sage for smudging is a closed practice, and should only be done so respectifully due to it being sacred to the Indiginous culture.
While palo santo is not considered to be a part of a "closed practice", it itself is a sacred plant to Indiginous South American shamanic practices. The plant is nearing endagerment, and due to this will not be sold under Lotus Hymn out of respect.
